This year has certainly flown by! Now that the summer is creeping to a close and school is getting ready to start, I am faced with the harsh reality that my oldest son is starting high school and my time with these kids is limited. Soon they will leave the nest and I hope that I have done a good job preparing them for their next chapter. It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant with William staying up until the wee hours of the morning to cram for my real estate license exam. I still remember walking into my first brokerage for an interview after a morning of trying to figure out what to wear and running all the way across town to drop my baby off with my cousin. I was exhausted by the end of the day and was afraid I'd never be able to pull off a career with all the juggling it would require. 13 years later, I am in awe of what I have been able to accomplish with your help. I owe it to my dear clients, friends and family who were able to see something in me that I couldn't always see myself.

I've always been a hard worker and operate under the philosophy that you fake it until you make it, but there were many times I didn't know if I was going to make it. I cannot explain the gift that you have given with your trust, encouragement and belief in me. Growing my career, raising two sons, buying and selling my own real estate, going through a divorce, surviving as a single mom and now working for one one of the most prestigious brokerages in the world is almost more than I can fathom. My heart is full. I want to say thank you for all the years of trust and for making me a better, stronger individual. Some of you have strengthened me more than others :)

I'm excited about growing my brand at Compass and to start the next chapter of my life. I hope my boys come to know the rewards of pushing past their fears to achieve a life of their dreams. I'm not talking about money, where society places so much importance, but building a life in service to the people around you. I hope I can continue to be of service to you and know that I am always trying my best. Cheers to the future! ~ Lindsay
